Santos is the latest company to support Australian Women’s Rugby.
Santos is signing on as an official partner of the Qantas Australian Women’s Sevens team in their quest for back-to-back Olympic Gold next year in Tokyo as well as Australia’s World Cup hopefuls, the Buildcorp Wallaroos.
The agreement confirmed between Rugby Australia and Santos sees the proudly Australian natural gas company become the official oil and gas exploration and production partner of the Buildcorp Wallaroos and Qantas Australian Women’s Sevens teams for the next three years.
The Santos logo will be emblazoned on the shorts of both teams as well on the sleeve of the team polos. It will be first seen when the Aussie Sevens hit round two of the HSBC Sevens World Series in Dubai that kicked off on Thursday evening.
Santos’ support sees them cover both Australia’s elite Women’s Rugby teams that compete in the pinnacle global Rugby tournaments, the HSBC Women’s Sevens World Series and the Rugby World Cup.
Santos has also confirmed that Aussie Sevens star, Charlotte Caslick will become an ambassador for the Australian company.
