New Zealand-born, Alysia Lefau-Fakaosilea comes from a history of Australian Rugby players; niece of Wallabies player, Will Skelton and cousin of former Brumbies player, Lolo Fakaosilea. A sporting allrounder, Rugby is just one of her sporting talents, including Netball and representing New Zealand in OzTag.

Lefau-Fakaosilea was named Captain of the Australian Youth Girls Sevens side.

In 2018 she put a further dent in Rugby scene playing for Queensland Reds at the Brisbane Global Rugby Tens where she single handily changed the momentum of the women's Final between Queensland and NSW. Making a crunching tackle in extra time on her opposition which then led to a turnover, allowing the barnstorming back to score the match winning try, sending Suncorp Stadium into raptures.
