Born in Manchester, UK, Emily Robinson is a proud resident of Sydney’s northern beaches where she has played over 200 games for Warringah Rats. Nicknamed “Grommy” or “Horse” is one of the true characters of the Buildcorp Wallaroos. The tenacious front rower is a different person once over that white line and has been one of Australia’s most committed players on and off the field. Robinson is now an employee of NSW Rugby, where she manages a role in the community team, helping to inspire the next generation of Rugby players.
Robinson first debuted for the Buildcorp Wallaroos in 2016 when Australia played the Black Ferns at Eden Park.
Robinson was selected in Australia’s Squad for the Women’s Rugby World Cup where the Aussies finished in sixth place.
Robinson was named in the New South Wales Waratahs women’s team to be a part of the inaugural Super W competition where she played a pivotal role in the Waratahs championship campaign.
