Eva Karpani barnstormed onto the Rugby scene after making her first season in the Aon University Sevens Series in 2017 where she earned the affectionate nickname of “K-Train” due to her ability to smash her way through tackles. Coming from a big Rugby family in Adelaide, the game has always been around her and Karpani has enjoyed playing Rugby with her siblings.
She has represented the Australian Rugby Youth Sevens Girls team during the 2013 Youth Olympics and would've done so again in 2014 if not for a broken collarbone.
Named in the Buildcorp Wallaroos squad for the first time in 2019, Karpani is set to debut in the green and gold in the July test match against Japan.
Karpani is one of the players to look out for in the first season of Aon University Sevens for Adelaide University and causes headaches for defences across the four rounds.
Karpani made the move to Sydney to join NSW Waratahs Women for the 2019 Buildcorp Super W Season where she made her mark.
