Trilleen Pomare

Pomare is the Force’s “heart and soul”, playing for the club since season one – and missing only one game in that time – as well as representing the Wallaroos at two World Cups. Pomare made her Australia debut in the 2017 World Cup opener against Ireland. The Auckland-born Rutherford College product plays her club rugby for Wanneroo. ‘Trills’ can play inside-centre or fly-half, but has been used at 12 in recent seasons. She was the co-winner of the 2023 Force Woman Award and has led the side as skipper. She does all that juggling her job as Operations Manager at Komatsu Australia’s Distribution Centre in Welshpool.
