The Wallaroos have rewarded another four rookies with 2026 national contracts as an extended squad prepares to assemble for a training camp in Sydney on Sunday.
ACT Brumbies pair Chioma Enyi and Manu’a Moleka will join Western Force flyhalf Grace Freeman and NSW Waratahs hooker Millie Parker in the Wallaroos program from January.
Enyi is a former junior Australian Athletics champion after starring in the 100m, 200m and long jump events.
The 24-year-old also took up boxing at a young age but was drawn to rugby by her mates in high school and has since risen through the ranks in Canberra.
“Chioma has been on our radar for some time and after her strong season with the Brumbies, we're delighted to have her in the squad next season,” General Manager of Women's Rugby Jilly Collins said.
“We see huge potential in her as a dynamic back-rower. She possesses the drive and physical prowess to make an immediate impact and we look forward to her future with the Wallaroos.”
Moleka, 18, toured with the Wallaroos as a World Cup squad member in 2025 but is yet to make her international debut.
The Blacktown Scorpions junior and younger sister of Faitala Moleka will have a delayed start to next season after undergoing knee surgery in October.
“Manu'a was an integral member of the Wallaroos squad throughout the 2025 season, contributing significantly despite not taking the field,” Collins said.
“While an unfortunate knee injury will require her to focus on rehabilitation for the majority of 2026, she remains a key figure in our plans for the future of the program.”
Freeman is also coming off some injury troubles in 2025 that ruled her out of Wallaroos contention but is on the long-term radar of Rugby Australia.
The New Zealand-born fly-half joined Western Force in 2025 after previously starring for the Melbourne Rebels in Super Rugby Women’s and Sydney University in the Jack Scott Cup.
“Grace is a promising fly-half who demonstrated her quality early this year with the Force, despite her progress unfortunately being hampered by injury,” Collins said.
“She is a talented ball-playing inside back, complemented by a very strong kicking game.
“We are delighted she has agreed to a national contract and are genuinely excited about what she has to offer the squad.”
Parker is a hard-working teenager who hails from the Central Coast and attended the same high school as Wallaroos teammate Ruby Anderson.
After being selected for the Australian Schoolgirls team at the Global Youth 7s, she went on to secure her Super Rugby Women's debut with the NSW Waratahs in 2025.
“Millie is the definition of a player on the rise,” Collins said.
“She offers an exciting combination of pace and forward strength to the Wallaroos squad and we firmly believe she has a very bright future ahead in the gold jersey.”
An extended Wallaroos squad will attend a four-day training camp in Sydney from Sunday as part of 2026 Test preparations.
The Wallaroos Test schedule for 2026 is set to be announced in December.
