The Wallaroos will play France and Scotland in their final two away Test matches of the WXV Global series in Europe to complete the international calendar for 2026.

France Rugby confirmed its fixture will take place on September 19 in Aix-en-Provence before the Wallaroos travel to Edinburgh to clash with Scotland on September 26.

The Wallaroos will return to France for the first time since 2014 while the side will tour Scotland for a maiden appearance as part of their European leg of the new WXV format.

Kick off times and venues for both fixtures will be confirmed by respective home unions in due course.

The Wallaroos have met fourth-ranked France on six occasions for two wins while they hold an unbeaten 4-0 record over Scotland, including a WXV 2 title win in 2024.

Interim General Manager of Women’s High Performance and Competitions Jilly Collins said: “It is fantastic to lock in our final fixtures against France and Scotland in two iconic rugby nations.

“This marks the first time the Wallaroos will play a Test match on Scottish soil, which is a significant milestone for the program, and our first match in France since 2014.

“One of the greatest advantages of the new WXV format is that matches are hosted by participating nations, allowing our players to experience incredible new locations and rugby cultures around the world.”

Scotland will tour Australia in return a fortnight later with the Wallaroos hosting the nation for the first time in Sydney (October 17), followed by Canberra (October 23) to finish the international season.

The Wallaroos will host Scotland as part of a Bledisloe Cup double header with the Wallabies at Accor Stadium before shifting focus to Canberra’s GIO Stadium.

Scotland are currently ranked sixth in the world and are coached by former Wallaroos assistant Sione Fukofuka.

The Wallaroos are next in action against New Zealand at Go Media Stadium in Auckland on August 22 for the return leg of the O’Reilly Cup before preparing for the WXV Global series.
