Wallaroos coach Jo Yapp believes their upcoming European and WXV 2 tour will set the side up perfectly as the countdown begins to the 2025 Rugby World Cup.
It is exactly one year until the World Cup gets underway in England, with Australia's place all but assured after they qualified for the second tier of WXV.

Yapp and the Wallaroos are currently conducting camps in Canberra and Sydney before heading overseas for games against Ireland and Wales.
“The opportunity to go away to Europe, it’s all a part of Jaime’s (Fernandez, Women’s High Performance) bigger picture planning," Yapp told Rugby.com.au
“A lot of the girls have never done a long haul flight before so it’s how they cope that and being away and learning from that experience because we’re going to replicate in 12 months time going into a World Cup.
“It’s great preparation for us a year out in terms of that wider vision.”
The Wallaroos are confident the results will come after a lean home Test season, with Yapp already seeing the improvements of their increased training camps.
“Although we haven’t had the results and that’s frustrating, we have seen loads of growth in the girls," she said.
“We’ve seen those small wins, every player over the last month or so has improved their Bronco scores and players are improving their attack and we’ve got stats to prove that.
“There are areas of the game that we’ve had real growth in and this is another opportunity for us to grow as a squad and to develop those individual players because we know the girls didn’t get the opportunity to play enough in the past so Rugby knowledge is a really big piece.
“Being in camp allows us to have that time with the girls to look at the reviews and analysis. It’s all those extra things that make a big difference.”
It has already been confirmed hosts England would open the tournament at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland, with Twickenham set to host the Final on September 27.
