Alapeta 'Petz' Ngauamo brings plenty of club rugby experience after playing in Queensland for most of her adult life.

Of Tongan heritage, Ngauamo grew up in a family of eight with her siblings – including her three sisters – all playing rugby. She also played futsal as a teenager and represented the Australian under 18s side.

Ngauamo played for the Queensland Reds in Super Rugby Women's before switching to Western Force in 2024.

After injuries in the forward pack, Ngauamo received a call-up to the Wallaroos squad, travelling to Ireland, where she made her international debut at age 35 - breaking the all-time Wallaroos record for oldest player to debut.

Ngauamo enjoyed her second season with the Western Force in 2025 and will eye a maiden World Cup appearance.

Off the field Ngauamo is a support worker and has an addiction to eating chilli.
