Atasi Lafai

Atasi Lafai started playing backyard footy at a young age with her brothers, including former NRL player Tim Lafai. The Waratahs lock was named player of the Super Rugby Women’s grand final in April – a remarkable turnaround having overcome two ACL injuries, a serious ankle injury, a broken collarbone and freak eye injury in recent years. Convinced her career was over, Lafai will be pushing for a strong 2024 campaign with the World Cup ahead.
