Bridie O’Gorman grew up in Sydney’s west before graduating at Sydney University with a civil engineering degree. It was there she also pulled on the boots for the first time to play rugby in 2017.

O’Gorman cracked into the NSW Waratahs squad as soon as the Super Rugby season kicked off before making her Wallaroos debut against Fiji in 2022.

She pushed on to play in the delayed 2021 Rugby World Cup and is one of the most experienced players in the squad, bringing up her 25th cap during the WXV 2 tournament in Cape Town, 2024.

Away from the game O'Gorman likes to ride her motorbike, watch live music and her rugby league team the Sydney Roosters.
