Caitlin Urwin

Caitlin Urwin is an emerging winger who played a variety of sports growing up including touch football. Born and raised in Queensland’s Gympie, she was inspired to play rugby by her older brother, who also played the game.

It wasn’t until she was high school when a team was put together that Urwin kicked off playing. She then joined the Gympie Hammers aged 17 before starting Rugby Sevens.

Urwin was quickly identified by the Queensland Reds and has played both Sevens and XVs in recent years. She has played the past two years in the Australia A side as she looks towards a Wallaroos debut.

Off the field Urwin is a hairdresser and enjoys horse riding.
