Katalina Amosa is a hooker who started her rugby journey in 2016 via Rugby Sevens before later transitioning to the 15-a-side game in 2018.
The younger sister of Wallabies hooker Brandon Paenga-Amosa, Katalina grew up playing netball while she represented Macquarie Uni Rays in the AON Uni sevens competition in 2018.
A previous school captain at Endeavour Sports High School, Amosa represented the Southern Districts in XVs before being part of the NSW Waratahs squad for one season.
She then moved to Canberra, where she made her debut in the 2024 Super Rugby Women's competition.
Amosa received a call-up to the Wallaroos extended squad in April, 2025, after a strong Super W season and made her international debut the following month in Suva against Fijiana.
Amosa went on to play in nine of 11 Tests in 2025 including a maiden Rugby World Cup, where she opened the scoring against Samoa in the side's first game.
