Born on the Central Coast, NSW, before moving to Newcastle, Nathan has a twin sister, Nicole Nathan, who also played rugby growing up. Away from rugby, Nathan is a What Ability ambassador and passionate about working with people with a disability. Nathan floated in and out of the Wallaroos squad in 2024 before a knee injury ruled her out of the WXV 2 tournament.
