Natalie Wright is a proud Queenslander who has risen through the 15s ranks after overcoming multiple injury setbacks while coming through the Australian Sevens system.

Wright played tennis and hockey growing up and works at a boarding house.

She is also part of a popular touch football team in Queensland called the ‘Red hot chilli steppers’ – dedicated to natural red head players only. The team has competed in the UK recently.

Wright made her Wallaroos debut against Fijiana in 2024 and was part of the side's WXV 2 campaign success despite a foot injury ruling her out mid-tournament.
