Wallaroos flyer Maya Stewart is set to give Jo Yapp's side a major boost as she looks set to return from injury during their pre-WXV European trip.

Stewart missed the July series after picking up a hamstring injury days before the Fijiana Test.

Tickets for the 2024 Wallabies home Test season are available here.

Wallaroos coach Jo Yapp has also recalled Western Force scrumhalf Sam Wood and Waratah Sera Naiqama.

Wood missed the July Tests with a back injury after starting during the Pacific Four series.

As for Naiqama, she will push for a recall after featuring throughout the 2022 and 2023 Test seasons.

Teenage stars Waiaria Ellis and Caitlyn Halse join NSW Waratahs teammate Tatum Bird in the extended squad that will train throughout the month before they head to Wales and Ireland for WXV warm-up games.

Bird has filled in at scrumhalf and wing for the Waratahs as one of several players pushing for a debut alongside hooker Brittany Merlo and lock duo Ash Fernandez and Tiarah Minns.

The Wallaroos will gather in a series of camps before they depart for Europe for a pair of warm-up games.

They will face Ireland on September 14 in Belfast before taking on Wales a week later.

It'll act as perfect preparation before WXV 2, opening their campaign against the Welsh on September 28

The Wallaroos have also been drawn to face South Africa and Scotland after missing WXV 1 following their winless Pacific Four campaign.
